2 NIGHT/3 DAY CANOE SAFARI:
Our shortest safari – similar to the Island Trail, stopping short of Mana Pools National Park

ISLAND TRAIL CANOE SAFARI:
Three night/four day, island-hopping canoe safari through the middle Mana Pools flood plain region of the Lower Zambezi River.

5 IN 1 RIVER RUN CANOE SAFARI:

A four night/five day, adventurous canoe safari through the flood plains of the middle Zambezi River encompassing game drives, both day and night, a walk and a visit to a traditional fishing village.

GREAT ZAMBEZI CANOE SAFARI:

A five night/six day safari geared towards the canoeing enthusiast looking for that element of added excitement. This section of the Zambezi River passes through the flood plains of the middle Zambezi and the confines of the remote Mupata Gorge, before ending at the confluence of the Luangwa River. On this section of the river one can explore the numerous subsidiary channels, which are prolific in bird and animal life.

ZAMBEZI EXPLORER SAFARI:

Our long haul safari eight nights/nine days; we canoe the length of the lower Zambezi River in Zambia - from just below the Kariba Gorge to Feira on the Mozambique border. This is the longest canoe safari we run – encompassing the entire length of the lower Zambezi River. Passing the fabled Mana Pools National Park on your right and then the Lower Zambezi National Park on the right! – the safari starts downstream from the Kariba Dam Wall, below the Kariba Gorge and on through the flood plains and channels of the lower Zambezi River.

GENERAL NOTES:

• Prices include Government levies, but exclude VAT where applicable

• ZRA reserves the right to amend these rates without prior notice

• Children under the age of 12 require special clearance before participating in a safari

• All our safaris are of a participatory nature and led by qualified canoe guides

• Boat transfers are may be arranged during the rainy season at an additional charge should conditions demand this. However, road transfers to and from the safari area are included in the cost of the safari (applicable during rainy season November to April only).

• It is compulsory to have medical and travel insurance cover to take part in our safaris

• Prices exclude National Parks fees where applicable (Great Zambezi and Zambezi Explorer – entry into Lower Zambezi National Park requires entry permits to be paid direct by each individual). At time of going to print National Parks Entry Fees are US$25.00 per person per day plus canoe and camping entry to be confirmed. 

• Prices exclude transfers and charters except for the transfers in the safari area, which are included in the cost of the safari

• Visa fees are not included and are payable direct by the client on entry to Zambia The clients are requested to ensure that they are aware of the cost of the visa and to have the correct denomination US Dollar notes to pay for a visa.

BOOKING CONDITIONS:

• 50% deposit is required to confirm bookings

• All safaris must be paid in full 45 days prior to departure of the safari

• Cancellations received 30 days prior to start of the safari – 50% of cost of safari

• Cancellations received 0 to 21 days prior to the start of the safari – 100% of cost of safari

ROAD TRANSFERS

• ZRA reserves the right to amend these rates without prior notice

TRANSFER NOTES:

• 10% commission included in above transfer rates for agents.

• Rates are one-way and transfers only – no refreshments are provided

• Minimum of three clients traveling i.e. two pay for three

• On longer routes we will stop at certain points for clients to purchase refreshments if required

• Above times do not take into account delays i.e. airport/border delays; traffic problems on 2 night 3 day the escarpment etc.
